Bei Chang Ling is an artist of vast experience and talent. Born in Zhengzhuo, Henan Province, People's Republic of China, in November 1941 Bei Chang Ling has been painting since 1959. Since that time he has specialized almost exclusively on landscape and has developed his own distinctive style within traditional Chinese painting. He has become known throughout China and in 1989 joined the All China Artist's Society by special invitation. He is also a member of the commitee of Henan Famous Artist's Association. A copy of his achievement certificate is provided for purchaser's of his paintings.
Bye Ken Yen is a very accomplished artist having started painting in 1947 when he was just seven years old. His specialism is landscape. In 1962 he graduated from Tianjin Art College where he is now a professor and supervisor of Masters Degree courses. Professor Bye Ken Yen is also a National Exhibition Examiner. A very collectable artist.
Chen Tian has been a famous artist in China for many years. He has been acknowledged as an artist of distinction by many prestigious organizations including, the Chinese National Artist's Friendship Union, the Japanese Painting and Calligraphy Institute, The American Emigrant Artist Center, the Eastern Art Reseach Institue of France, the Taiwanese Painting and Calligraphy Artists Institute and the National Chinese Painting and Calligraphy Artist's Association.
Chen Xi Nan is a very experienced artist who specializes in painting lotus flowers. Having produced some excellent works over the years a selection of his painting were chosen for display at The Eighth National Fine Arts Exhibition of China, organized by the Department of Culture of the People's Republic of China and the Association of Chinese Painters and Calligraphers.
Mr. Duan Guan Hong was born in Guilin, Guangxi, People's Republic of China in 1955. Duan Guan Hong has been a keen painter since childhood and graduated from art college in 1977. His specialities are bamboo, bird and flower. He has won prizes in several competitions at provincial level. Images of his paintings have been printed in magazines and newspapers throughout Guangxi Province. He is now a member of the China Sitao Art Academy.

Gau Cheng Le is now head of the painting department at Zhengzhou Art College and is a member of many prestigious art and painting associations. Mr. He Yong Zhen is now in his late 60's and has been painting since his early teens. He is a member of The Association of Chinese Painters and Calligraphers, The Association of Oriental Painting and Calligraphy and is a Senior Painter at The Zung Yuan Painting and Calligraphy Association. Professor Hua Tou is amongst the most talented of artists whose paintings are displayed at The Gallery of China. Hua Tou was born in Jiangsu Province, People's Republic of China in 1922. Since early childhood he has been a prolific painter, particularly of landscapes and birds, and has earned a reputation throughout China for his use of vivid color within the spectrum of traditional Chinese art. An extremely collectable artist Professor Hua Tou is now retired after many years of teaching experience particularly at Nanjing's art college. He has been awarded with many prizes during his artistic life and now at the age of 83 years still produces the occasional masterpiece.
Jian Yue is a specialist in landscape paintings. Born in Shanghai in 1952 he moved to Nanjing, People's Republic of China, as a child, which is where his interest in painting first began. He is a member of various artists organizations and groups including the prestigious National Artists Association.
Jiang Shi Ming was born in 1939 and has been painting for over half a century. In 1962 he graduated from Tianjin Art College and is now a member of both The Henan Artists Association and The National Artists Association. His specialisms are birds and peony.
Jiang Xia was born in 1962 and found an affinity for painting at an early age. He specializes almost exclusively on the Lotus Flower. Jiang Xia is a graduate of Tian Jing Art University and has the honour of having been selected for the offical National Famous Artist listing.
Mr. Jing Da Hong was born in Guangxi Province, People's Republic of China in 1968. He started painting when very young and specialized in painting tigers from an unusually early age. Now he has perfected a slightly individual and elaborate style of depicting tigers. He has also paid much attention to the art of calligraphy. In 1996 Jing Da Hong was awarded a gold medal for a tiger painting he entered into that year's Chinese contemporary art festival. He is currently a member of the Chinese Art and Calligraphy Association.

His favorite subject to paint is lotus flowers.
Professor Lee Liang Tz was born in 1956 and started viewing painting seriously as a future profession in 1972. After many years practice he has earned his present position as Professor at X'ian Art University College. He also has the honor of having one of his paintings collected and displayed by the Beijing People's Gallery. His specialism is painting bamboo and pine.
Mr. Lei Li was born in Guilin, Guangxi, People's Republic of China in 1947. Since graduating from Guangxi Art College he has specialized in painting dragons and worked with several talented Chinese artists for a period of twenty years. All the paintings in The Dragon Gallery are by Mr. Lei Li. His distinctive style is his hallmark and has won him many prestigious awards. His works are now collected by many famous people and he has often been praised for his enthusiastic and unyielding pursuit of quality in art.
Mr. Leo Ching Le was born in 1965 in Zhengzhou, Henan Province, People's Republic of China. He began painting at the age of 14 years and since that time has specialized in calligraphy and bamboo - his style of bamboo painting closely resembles that of Chinese calligraphy. Leo Ching Le is a graduate of Kuang Su Art College and a member of the Kuang Su Art Association.
Mrs. Leo Hai was born in Zhengzhou, Henan Province, People's Republic of China in 1959. She began painting as a child and has now over thirty years experience. In 1979 she graduated from Zhengzhou Artist's College and is now a Member of the Commitee of the Henan Province Artist's Association. She specializes in landscapes and bamboo and has been awarded the First Prize in the National Provincial and City Painting Competition. Leo Hai is married to the talented and esteemed artist Leo Tzu.
Mr. Leo Pu Gu was born in Zhengzhou, Henan Province, People's Republic of China in 1951. He has been a member of the Hunan Artist's Asociation for many years and specializes exclusively in landscape painting. Besides many other awards, in 1999 he received Second Prize in the National Landscape Art Exhibition and First Prize in the Hunan Art Exhibition.
Mr. Leo Tzu has been a very accomplished artist from an early age. He started to paint at only eight years old and has achieved an impressively wide array of specialisms including landscape, peony, dragons and various animals. He has achieved many awards and prizes for his paintings. Perhaps most notable in recent years is his Gold Prize (first prize) Award in 1999 for his painting of Two Cats in the Sanshi Province Painting and Calligraphy Competition. Mr. Leo Tzu is now Vice President of the Henan Cultural Artist's Institute in Zhengzhou, Henan Province.
Professor Li Chang Li is a very experienced artist. Born in 1938 he has spent 41 years as a painting teacher. He is a long standing member of the Farmer's Drawing and Painting Institute of Henan Province and is Vice-Master of the Drawing and Painting Ping Yuan Museum. He has won many awards over the years. More recently these include, in 1999 the Bronze Prize at the Committee of the International Golden Swan Art Competition held in New York (copy of certificate to those purchasing his paintings). His specialisms are landscape, peony and tiger.
Mr. Li Chengbin was born in Guilin, Guangxi Province, People's Republic of China in 1938. After graduating from the art faculty of Guilin teacher training college in 1960 he worked as a primary school teacher, headmaster and advisor on education before becoming the head of the county cultural center. Throughout his life he has also continued to paint and study Chinese art. During the '60's and '70's his paintings were exhibited many times throughout the province. From the '80's onwards Li Chengbin increasingly specialized in the painting of landscapes. Since this time he has won many prizes in national painting competitions and his works have been exhibited in numerous galleries abroad. His biography has recently been accepted for inclusion in the Dictionary of Living Chinese Artists.
Mr. Li Mo was born in Guilin, Guangxi Province, People's Republic of China in 1944. Within a few years of graduating from Guangxi Art University he had already mastered many artistic disciplines. Having learned from the strong points of others he began to develop his own distinctive painting style. His paintings have already won numerous prizes and awards at national level exhibitions, including exhibitions organized by the prestigious China Artist Association. Many of his paintings have also been purchased by museums and art galleries for their permanent collections. Li Mo is a member of the Chinese Painting and Calligraphy Association and is fast becoming a very collectable artist.
Born in 1921 Mr. Ling Wen Zhuo is now in his 80's. He was fortunate enough to meet several experienced and understanding artists whilst still quite young. Ling Wen Zhou graduated from Wuhan University and since that time has specialized in the landscape theme - perfecting a style that makes wonderful use of clear contour lines. He has for many years exhibited his paintings throughout China. He is one of the most experienced traditional artists to exhibit their work with The Gallery of China.
Liu Qiao Yang was originally taught to paint by his father who was a painting teacher and school headmaster. By the time Liu Qiao Yang was 17 years old he was teaching painting to others and attending college courses in traditional Chinese painting. Liu Qiao Yang is now 63 years old, is a member of the All China Senior Citizens' Painting and Calligraphy Society and a member of the Hunan Artists' Association. He has for many years specialized in painting horses and landscapes and has won many awards during his painting career. In 1992 he entered the "Hope Cup" sponsored by the National Chinese Painting and Calligraphy Association. Liu Qiao Yang was awarded first prize in this competition - a copy of his certificate will be sent to all those who purchase one of his paintings.
Mr. Lu Jihua is now 58 years old and began painting at the early age of 5 years old. He was born and raised in Guangxi and his father was a well known local painting teacher. By the time he left school Lu Jihua was already becoming known as a talented artist. When Macao was returned to China in 1999 a massive painting exhibition was held and Lu Jihua won the landscape artists section. Beside this prestigious prize he has also won many awards at both national and provincial levels. Now a very collectable artist Mr. Lu Jihua is a member of the China Artist Association.
Lu Yuanzhong was born in Guilin, Guangxi, People's Republic of China in 1962. When he was 18 years old he took up the study of drawing under the guidance of Liu Mingzhao. Later in the 1980's he devoted more and more of his time to landscape painting. He sought out and was accepted by Ye Xiangxi and Tao Zhengde and followed their instruction. In 1993 he relocated to Beijing and worked in Zhao Zhitian's studio at the Beijing Art Academy. He is a member of the Chinese Association of Painters and Calligraphers, the Chinese Association of Artists and the Guilin Association of Artists. He is also secretary to the Guilin Landscape Painting Research Institute and vice chairman of the Guilin Association of Artists. His paintings are collected internationally and in 1991 and 1994 Lu Yuanzhong held exhibitions of his work in the Capital Museum in Beijing. His name is included in both dictionaries of Chinese Painters and Calligraphers and The Chinese Artists. A very collectable artist.
After many years experience Mr. Luo Shuan Xian is now a professional artist and painter. He is now in his late 60's and is a member of the Farmer's Painting and Calligraphy Association in Henan Province, People's Republic of China. He specializes in Bamboo, Tigers and Peony.
Ma Yong Chao was born in Henan Province in 1936. Having started painting as a child he graduated from Henan Art College as a young man - he now has over half a century's experience of being an artist and specializes in landscape, bird and flower paintings. Besides managing a gallery in Zhengzhou he is a Senior Painter at The Chinese Art Research Institute and a member of many prestigious organizations. These organizations include, Senior Citizen's Art Association of Henan Province and Chinese Sen Mur Painting Association. He is also a member of the Managing Board for both The Yellow River Painting and Calligraphy Association and The Farmer's Painting and Calligraphy Association in Henan Province. All in all a very accomplished artist.
Mao Gui Ming is a very experienced painter. In 1995 he was awarded the honorary title of High Level Artist by the Artist Research Center of China.
Mao Zoming was born in Guilin, Guangxi, People's Republic of China in 1932. In 1949 he graduated from Tian Jin Fine Arts University having specialized in traditional Chinese painting. His teachers included famous Chinese artists such as, Ba Gang Tang, Sao Ming and Hugo Chun Yang. Mao Zoming's works have been included in many exhibitions, provincially and nationally. They have also been exhibited internationally on many occasions including, U.S.A. England, Canada, Japan, Hong Kong and Taiwan. Mao Zoming is now a research fellow of traditional Chinese paintings for the Guilin branch of the Chinese Artist's Association.
Mr. Qiu Yew Sheen was born in Yu I and sometimes uses the pen name Lao Gent. From an early age Qiu Yew Sheen had a strong love for painting and calligraphy. Graduating from He Nan Arts College he is now a member of the China Artist Association, the director of Yu I Painting and Calligraphy Academy and vice-chairman of the Lo Yang Painting and Calligraphy Society. His work has been discussed in many periodicals and newspapers and his paintings are collected by art lovers in Japan, Malaysia, Korea, Germany and the U.S.A.
Shao Yuin excels at painting flowers, particularly lotus flowers, for which he has won several awards. Originally from Beijing, having been born there in 1947 he settled in Nanjing after attending Nanjing University to study traditional Chinese painting and calligraphy. Besides painting, Mr. Shao Yuin also takes an active interest in traditional Chinese medicine and acupuncture.
Professor Shi Gong was born in Zhaoqing, Guangdong, People's Republic of China in 1928 and graduated from Zhaoqing Teaching College in 1949. He is now the President of Guilin Chinese Landscape Painting Institute. His works have won many awards and are collected by several Chinese statesmen. Professor Shi Gong recently appeared on German TV and through an interpreter gave an introduction to Chinese landscape painting. His paintings have also been exhibited in Japan, Singapore, Hong Kong and Beijing. He is a member of many prestigious art organizations too numerous to list here. A very sought after artist.
Mr. Shi Mo was born in Guilin, Guangxi Province, People's Republic of China in 1944. Having been interested in painting and calligraphy as a child he relocated as a young adult to study at Ze Jiang Art University. After learning from other's strong points Shi Mo developed a unique detailed style of painting and concentrated his attentions upon the depiction of the tiger. His works have been exhibited many times in national exhibitions and he has received much praise, prizes and awards. He is now an organisational member of the Chinese Painting and Calligraphy Association. His paintings are becoming increasingly collectable and are already sought after by people in many different countries.
Shi Yan is from Yangshou near Guilin in Guangxi Province, People's Republic of China. He excels at painting cranes and storks and is a member of the Guilin Artists Association.
Su Hua was born in Guilin, Guangxi, People's Republic of China in 1963. From an early age Su Hua developed a very keen
interest in painting and has focused almost exclusively on tigers and lions. He is currently the director of the Li River

Born in 1939 near Nanjing in Jiangsu Province, People's Republic of China, Su Xi has spent much of his time since either studying or painting traditional Chinese paintings. He now specializes almost exclusively in landscape but has experimented with much success in bamboo, peony and carp paintings. He is a member of the All China Artist's Society and the Jiangsu Artist's Association. Su Xi is one of the most talented artists you will find on this website and his artworks are already highly collectable.
Tang Yan was born in Hangzhou, People's Republic of China and graduated from Hangzhou Art College. He is currently the vice director of the Painting Association of Chinese Elders and a member of the Hangzhou Art Association. His paintings are very life-like and for many years he has specialized in painting animals and birds.
Tong Weng Xin was born in Nanjing in 1952 and graduated from Nanjing University in 1986. He started learning calligraphy from his father at the age of six - he has now been studying and practicing painting and calligraphy for almost 50 years. His works have been exhibited throughout China and are collected by many art galleries. Tong Weng Xin has won many awards and prizes and has been recently had the honor of being listed in the dictionary of contemporary Chinese calligraphers and artists.
Mr. Wang Hai Yun is now in his early 50's and over the years has been awarded many prizes in and around Henan Province. He is a graduate of Nanjing Art University where he studied for several years as a young man. He specializes in the landscape style paintings of the Ming Dynasty and has a liking for large canvasses.
Professor Wang Wai, now retired from academic life, spends much of his time painting landscapes. Now in his late 60's he has received many accolades during his many years as a prominent Chinese artist.
Mr. Wang Yun, now 56 years old, began painting in 1952 when he was just eight years old. During his early years he was almost entirely self-taught, since that time Wang Yun has studied with many renowned artists. For many years his works have been displayed at exhibitions throughout China. Wang Yun has also received commendations for articles he has written for the Ou Yang Xiu Art Research Association and is a Research Fellow with the All China Senior Citizen's Painting and Calligraphy Association. Having gained expertize in many subject themes his specialism and preference is for flowers, birds and animals.
Wei Zi Xi studied at art college in Nanjing, People's Republic of China, and became a professional artist almost immediately after completing his course. He has a very distinctive style of painting and this artist represents an excellent "find" for The Gallery of China. Specializing almost excusively on landscapes Wei Zi Xi has won many awards over the years. By using bright and vivid colours his paintings feel alive with the vitality of life. Mr. Wei Zi Xi is still only in his late forties (one of the youngest of the artists who's work we display) and has a great future ahead of him as he continues to attract more attention and grow in popularity.
Having graduating from Guangxi University Mr. Xie Yu Ze began painting as a young man under the influence and guidance of Mr. Hsu, a famous painter of the day. Xie Yu Ze is now in his early seventies and is presently the Vice Director of the Li Jiang Landscape Association. He is also a member of the Chinese Art Association. He has often been praised for the strength, vitality and clearness of spirit that he brings to his paintings.
Xin Tang was born in Nanjing in 1946 and by the time he had graduated from Nanjing University he had already painted many great works of art. Always having been interested in painting since being a small child Xin Tang sought out other artists and studiously watched them paint whilst practicing himself before entering into formal artistic education. In his time he has been chairman of the Nanjing Artists Association and the Jiangsu Province Artists Association. A very collectable artist with many tears of experience and dedication.
Xu Ling is certainly one of the most talented artists who's works we display. Specializing in landscape paintings his works are truly stunning. Born in 1948 in Jiangsu Province, People's Republic of China, Xu Ling started practising his art at an early age. As a child he produced some good class paintings of people, birds, flowers and landscapes. He was extremely fortunate to study under the world famous artist, Wei Zi Xi, whilst studying in the art department of Nanjing University, one of the top universities in China. This period of his life has certainly paid dividends. He has won many painting awards during his career including first prize in the All China Artists Competition and two further Excellence Awards. His paintings have been exhibited in Galleries in Europe, Hong Kong, Taiwan and many places thoughout People's Republic of China. A leading light in Jiangsu Province Artists Association, Xu Ling is an artist to watch as regards gaining further worldwide recognition and fame.
Mr. Xu Xiao Dong is an increasingly collectable artist. Born in 1964, so still young by Chinese artist's standards, he has
already caused quite a stir in Shanghai with his distinctive and colorful style. Having the good fortune to study under
Professor Gao at Shanghai Eastern Art College Mr. Xu Xiao Dong is now a faculty member of the Shanghai Art Association and
has received numerous awards and certificates for his wonderful paintings.
Yang Dong Bao is a very experienced artist whose works have been displayed at many large exhibitions throughout China. Since 1996 Yang Dong Bao has acted as an agent and consultant for The Gallery of China. He both recommends artists to us and selects be best of their works for display in our gallery. Many younger artists seek out Yang Dong Bao for advice and tutoring, especially in respect of landscape, human figure and horse painting.
Yang Yun was born in 1946 and graduated from Liuzhou Art Teachers' College in 1968. His works now form parts of various collections around the world including, Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong and U.S.A. Mr. Yang Yun is listed in the "Good Luck and Happiness" Dictionary of Chinese Ancient and Modern Painters and Calligraphers. During the last 20 years or so Yang Yun has experimented with many different paintings styles. He has learned from the strongest points of each style and developed a style of his own which is both in keeping with tradition blended with a hint of individualism.
Yi Zhong is from Hangzhou, Zhujiang Province, People's Rebuplic of China and has also spent time in Nanjing and Shanghai. He is a prolific painter who specializes mainly in bamboo and paints plum blossom from time to time too. He is a member of the Zhujiang Artists Association,
Yin Xing has been painting for nearly all of his 58 years. He graduated from Guangxi Art Vocational College and is now a member of the Liuzhou branch of the Chinese Artists Association. His works have been exhibited many times in national exhibitions and have been purchased by famous people from several different countries.
Professor Yu Tao is now in his early sixties and is professor of traditional Chinese painting at X'ian Art University College. He is known throughout China and has been painting for almost fifty years. His specialisms are landscape, flowers and birds.
Yun Xin is a highly talented artist who specializes in landscape paintings. Born in 1944 in Nanjing, People's Republic of China, Yun Xin started painting when he was still quite young. Along with his colleague and fellow artist Xu Ling he was extremely fortunate to study under the world famous artist, Wei Zi Xi, whilst studying in the art department of Nanjing University, one of the top universities in China. He has been awarded many prizes for his paintings during his lifetime career including several first prizes in the All China Artists Competition. His paintings have been exhibited in Europe, Singapore, and many galleries in the People's Republic of China.
Zhang Fu Sheng was born in He Ze, Shaodong, People's Republic of China in 1939. In 1964 he graduated from Shaodong Art University. His specialities are more wide ranging than many Chinese artists, they include, human figure, landscape, birds and flowers especially peony. His paintings are always very clear and vivid, revealing a fresh and vigorous style. His paintings have been exhibited many times in China and abroad and he has recently been honored by the inclusion of his name in the Dictionary of Famous Chinese Artists. His paintings are also collected by local government and the department of culture of the People's Republic of China.
Mr. Zhoa Fan Shang was born in 1957 and started his painting career at the age of 17 years old. He graduated from Tian Jin Art University College in 1980 and is now professor of traditional Chinese painting there. He specializes in painting cranes and his paintings have been widely exhibited, including Shanghai, Hong Kong and Singapore.
Zuo Yun is certainly one of the most talented artists whose paintings we have the privilege to display. Born in 1946 Zuo Yun was enrolled in art school in Xu Zhou, Jiangsu Province, at an early age and has been studying calligraphy, painting and Chinese chop marks (signature seals) for almost all his life. He is now a leading member of both the Artists Association of Xu Zhou and the Chop Mark Association of Xu Zhou. Zuo Yun has attained many prizes and awards throughout his life and has had his paintings displayed in exhibitions throughout China. More recently his paintings have also been displayed in Singapore and Japan where he attracting strong followings. He has also been interviewed and had articles published about him and his work in magazines and newspapers both within China and abroad. All in all a very collectable artist.
